Durham Residence

For this design, the client expressed an interest in Frank Lloyd Wright and wanted a home that reflected the Prairie School Style. I was happy to oblige! This home was meant to be constructed on a hillside with an expansive view of the forest below. The roof line was kept shallow and unimposing on the surrounding environment. Two terraces flanking the home allow the interior space to continue outside. I used rock and timber to construct the home to further engrain it in its natural environment.
